The Hot 俱乐部 of San Francisco plays the gypsy jazz 音乐 of guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli and the original Hot 俱乐部 de France. This unique jazz form recalls Paris in the 1930s and offers a swinging beat with a sweet melody. The Hot 俱乐部 performs many of the original works by Reinhardt and Grappelli and incorporates original works by guitarist Paul Mehling and violinist Evan Price. Other composers such as Claude Debussy and “Jelly Roll” Morton make appearances as well.
An evening with The Hot 俱乐部 of San Francisco offers a night of unforgettable 音乐.
There will be a “talk back” with the 音乐ians following the performance.
Tickets for Arts Series events are $12 for general admission, $10 for senior citizens over 60 years of age, W&J校友和非w校友&J students, and $7 for children 12 years of age and under. Season tickets are also available.
